Stone Cup this Friday

Monday, April 23, 2012

Read: there is a twist...

We are hosting a top rope/lead climbing Stone Cup this Friday, the 27th of April from 6pm-9pm. It is a community climbing competition and this time we will be trying a new format. You and your belay partner will fill out a "team" score card for the routes you each complete, yay for team work! Then turn in your score card to get into the after party with free food and refreshments. It will be a good night of friendly competition and fun routes. Grab a partner and come on out. Free for members and just a day pass for everyone else.

As a side note: The gym will be getting TORN UP this week so expect closures and destruction starting Wednesday night and continuing through Friday afternoon.

p.s. If you are competing in our youth local competition on Saturday the 28th, you may not attend the Stone Cup. You know who you are.

Stone Cup

Wednesday, August 12, 2015

Come join us for our Stone Cup this Friday! Starting at 6 pm, members can come in and pick up a score card at the front desk. This is a "honesty is the best policy" style competition. You have 3 hours to complete as many climbs as you can. When you're finished, tally up your score and bring it back to the front desk. We'll have the results out shortly. Some snacks and refreshments (the good kind) will be available towards the end of the comp.

Also, there will be some great new climbs to try out set by setters from all over the country. So, invite your friends and share our facebook event at

See you there!
